Electrical Estimates / Quotes
All our estimates are prepared in writing after a visit to your home to discuss the work you have requested us to estimate. Moreover, we do not do verbal or telephone estimates. This is because we are obligated to check certain parts of your existing installation before submitting an estimate.
Residual Current Device (RCD)
If you request us to install socket outlets on the ground floor of a property, these items MUST be protected by an RCD. If your existing fuse box does not offer this protection, we are obligated to install this item. Certain circumstances may not require an RCD, such as if the socket was to be located behind a fridge, and was highly unlikely to be ever used for outdoor equipment.
Electrical Certificates
All our electrical installations upon completion are inspected and tested and certified in accordance with the requirements of BS 7671 IEE Wiring Regulations and Part P of the Building Regulations. Furthermore, all certificates are issued in accordance with the work carried out.
Our Guarantee
All electrical installations we provide will be guaranteed for 15 years. Additionally, we provide a periodic inspection is carried out every 5 years by LivEarth Electrical Services. Otherwise, all work is guaranteed for 6 years.
Our guarantee is for our labour alone.
